Lucas Bertucci is co-founder and CTO of the American Solar Recycling Company. His research career has been built upon developing resource recovery processes for various neglected wastes including solar panels, e-waste, and batteries. Bertucci has designed metallurgical processes for recovering various critical materials including rare earth elements, copper, silicon, nickel, and cobalt. He has led research teams to achieving multiple national awards and recognition for highly innovative technologies. Bertucci holds a graduate position at Yale University where he is pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering. In addition, he holds his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
